I don't know what it is with my relations and peculiar purple accessories. I mean, yes, I like purple. I wear a fair bit of purple. I wear some accessories (mostly shrugs. Yet, for some reason, I do not yet own a purple shrug). But people on both sides of my family seem to enjoy giving me bizarre purple accessories that I don't know how to wear.

I like the hat. It is the good kind of weird.
I have a purple (bright lilac, actually) short sleeved cotton knit-lace shrug in my giveaway box. Would you like it? It will fit you and it's cute. The lace pattern looks vaguely like leaves. It has a touch of spandex inteh yarn so it's very comfy and washes nicely.

Yes, please!

I will re-home your purple shrug. Cheerfully!

Would you like to come for tea sometime?

That would be lovely. I'm crazy with exams and school/office pressures until after Dec 6th. Is that too far to schedule from now? Do you have my email address?

Beret-ish to the back or to the side both work well. I'd opt for the side, myself, but that's me. :-)

Whee! Jellyfish! :-D

Are you sure it's not a tea cosy?

My Grammie knit me a popsicle green eyelash yarn hat that is now serving as a tea cozy. Sometimes the object decides what it will be.

Back of the head, I think; it needs the symmetry.

Yesterday, I wore my turquoise octopus toque for the first time this season. It's a hat that's definitely designed to be seen from behind. A woman who overtook me on the sidewalk (I'm still not walking very quickly) complimented me on it.
