Many people think of the new year as a time to start over/ a clean slate. I quit my job at Planned Parenthood and currently am unemployed. I am moving to NYC on December 29th with no job and no real place to live. I am going to be staying with Sid and his roommate while I try to get a job. awesome. i just added this to my rss feed. two book recommendations that i've been into lately that are pretty much what you are talking about about feminist art:

i have both and they are fantastic. there are also a couple of others that i don't have that are good. i'm sure you probably already know about them though.

i'm so glad yr following the dream.

the new blog is an awesome idea.

makes me feel guilty that i abandoned the S.C. blog this year ... was that another project i started while manic ...? i think it was. .. it all blurs together... haha

good luck with the move! i hope everything works out!!...we dunno where we are gonna end up...it's either stay in our hometown(which is where we are now & swore we'd never move back to!) or move to the nearest big city(muncie,IN) where we know absolutley no one! we're still deciding what we wanna do. i'm also unemployed so i hope to do a few zines before i get a new job--when yer jobless it's always a good time to create! :)
i'm excited about the blog you started-i loved the video art!!!!!
