yep, unfortunately that is the closest Marriott, but it is a different Marriott than the one where I got the associate rate. Either way they(all Marriotts) are min. 3 miles away.

I can't commit, but am trying to see if it would work for one night only, two tops. I can tie it in with a visit to check up on my dad ~2.5 hrs away. Fairfields are decent hotels, and 79 is a good rate. Would that sleep more than 2 people?

well that's ok, it is still a while away and things can always change. I've never really been to a Fairfield because they are not that common in my area, but I always hear good things. I know that the rooms are doubles and when I was putting some information in, one question asked if there would be more than 3 people per room. which I thought was a bit odd. Then I was checking out the picture of the double suites and it looked as though there was a queen and a single bed hence the question about 3 or more. ::shrugs:: I'd need to call to get the skinny, but I believe 3-4 is doable.
