My boss at my Internet job got tickets to the U.S. Open yesterday, and his seat was so good, HE GOT ON TV! One of his friends Tevo'd him. He was literally sitting in the first row at Federer's end of the court, just slightly diagonally above the speed sign that displayed how fast each serve was ( Read more... )

Oh man I GOTTA catch tomorrow's final game, Federer v. Roddick. I just watched Roddick win over some Russian guy--first time I ever saw Roddick play but dang was he insane. I'm just getting into this whole tennis thing, but dang if it isn't addictive!! :) Hmmmm who to vote for?? I did see Federer play some British guy, and he wasn't as crazy as Roddick, but apparently Federer beats Roddick 10 out of 11 times. Um, go Roddick?

Roddick hasn't been having the best of seasons recently, although things started looking up for him when he won the Cincinnati Masters. Federer is just such a good player. Andy will need to have an exceptionally good day to beat him.
