Two degrees of separation (sort of) from Federer
My boss at my Internet job got tickets to the U.S. Open yesterday, and his seat was so good, HE GOT ON TV! One of his friends Tevo'd him. He was literally sitting in the first row at Federer's end of the court, just slightly diagonally above the speed sign that displayed how fast each serve was.
He said Federer played spectacularly, and I believe him. Blake supposedly played really well too, but Federer was being the superhuman that he was and kept hitting back all the impossible shots.
Being the lowly peon that I am, I only got to play around with things like the Torque Driver and the Mega Blaster. Images only, of course.
At least I got to meet Serena Williams when she visited the store.
