For those who haven't heard, Diana Wynne Jones passed away early yesterday morning, in hospice after a resurgence of illness

This was a very moving post. It's always shocking in a very intimate way when a writer who has moved us in a special way passes away.... :(

Thanks, Mark. Yes, grief is not a comparable thing, but losing a beloved writer is like losing some fundamental part of oneself. Fantasy especially. You lose worlds and truths. An occupational hazard...
