Well, I didn't write the argument. I merely copied and pasted it from Cracked. I'm just ranting about how stupid the main character is, because of his direct action, caused all of the shit to hit the fan as a whole. o.o

Dances With Wolves In Space was utter shit.

Also, it was seriously hilarious to me that humans would've discovered an entire brand new planet and only sent one scientist in to investigate.

Oh fuck Avatar, I spent like a whole fucking year telling people I had no interest. Then finally it came on TV and holy shit was it boring; I turned it off after 30 minutes.

I like how I'm about to watch this movie again and you just posted this. XD; I mean, of course it's unrealistic, it's a fantasy loosely based on historical confrontations. I thought it was beautiful and not just because I have a massive girl crush on Zoe Saldana. But I'm a girl and I guess guys watched this movie for a different reason than I did... Clearly, I was there for the pretty and the romance, which I think Avatar did do well, actually. Aww! ♥

Sorry for going all fangirly on you there. But yeah, there were a lot of flaws in this movie. Take that whole, "Foreigner doing it better than the Natives."

But yeah.. I wouldn't take it all too seriously. I mean, it was a good movie, but I mean.. yeah it is a bit overrated now that I think about it. :P

In the context of just "a movie", it's entirely unoriginal. The success of Avatar is more based on the graphical phenomenon created through the use of CGI. They create an entire fantasy world that looks amazing realistic for a great deal of the movie.
