Title: This Very Secret (That You're Trying To Conceal) Author: zerodetorres Characters: Brittany/Santana Rating: R Length: 2,356 Timeline: 2.01, Audition
This was just what I wanted after watching tonight. This was hot, angsty, and sweet all at once. I felt bad for Santana here as much as I did in the show. I really hope they go more into detail about her having self esteem issues, or something similar. Give her a back-bone at least, and develop her character more than just making her the token bitch (which I really hope they don't do, but I am kind of worried about that). This was perfect in the sense that we DID get to see inside her head, and her weaknesses. Great job. <3
I would love to have this storyline continue on the show, because I think if Santana becomes the hugest bitch this side of Lima, she really needs that vulnerability to tie her down and make her a compelling and dynamic and likable character. Naya did fantastic last night though, so I think, you know, even if Santana becomes the token bitch, Naya will keep a bit of heart in her. And then there's always going to be Brittany. ;)
Lots of words, but what I really mean is, thank you! :D
THE FIGHT WAS SO EPIC I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF.
But yeah, my heart was so sad for Santana in that scene in Sue's office! I was surprised by how much I accepted the boob job to be honest, because I thought it would ruin Santana for me. It did the complete opposite. I feel like now we're getting this vulnerability, now we're understanding why she "never says no", etc. She has insecurities! I kind of dig that.
