Oh.
When that rumour came out that Santana had got herself a boob job, I just brushed it off and thought it was too far-fetched (I mean a teenager, really?). But then last night I saw that it was actually true and the whole thing just felt off. Now that I have read your fic, I think I finally understand. I hope it's true that Santana has low self esteem and that they'll explore that storyline. It was really nice to read this :)

My first reaction when I heard about it was: lol someone's playing us. When it showed up over and over again in the spoilers, I was really nervous about how it would be done. I actually didn't mind it at all, which surprised me. I really hope they don't just drop it (which I doubt they will since... MAIN CAST, BABY).

Yeah, I was much more wtf-face about it before I saw the ep. But I thought Naya's performance really made up for the strange nature of the plot point. She did get punished for getting the surgery, so at least there's that.

HAHA yeah. I don't know though; I kind of didn't mind it as much as I thought I would. I'd love it if they went deeper into Santana's self-esteem issues, and maybe let us take a peek at her family at some point.

I think I'm sold on the idea that Santana Lopez is tough and all bitch on the outside, but that she has a vulnerability to her that maybe stems from absentee parents or something. I'd love for them to explore that.
