Ooh, I love bookends. I almost collect them. I have three different sets of cat bookends, and am not sure which I love the best. I have strange frog bookends, and heavy chair-shaped bookends.
(We also have a couple sets that I don't like so much, but gifts, you know?)
I love bookends, too. I don't have nearly enough, actually, and certainly none that I actually acquired myself. But Grandpa's hand-me-downs tend to be pretty cool. :)
they actually had, like, four variations on "I'm panicking about the economy", one for health care, one for troop withdrawal from Iraq, one for "stabilization of Afghanistan", and a couple other things I don't remember off the top of my head. Talking points, things the pundits think are important... I wrote in marriage equality and election finance reform, in addition to checking the health care one and the fiscal accountability in government.
I tend to vote Green or Indie in local elections - especially when I know the candidates.
