I think I was just waiting for the show to finally, I don't know, have those issues SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HIM. They've beat the John-was-a-terrible-abusive-father horse to DEATH since season 3 and I guess I wouldn't LOATHE IT QUITE SO MUCH (that's a lie, I'll always loathe it) if it helped develop Dean and Sam as characters. But nope, it always equals "SAM HAD TO RUN AWAY FROM THE ABUSE!" and "DEAN WAS THE COMFORT AND PROTECTION FOR SAM AND HIS MOTHER AND TOOK ALL THE TERRIBLE ABUSE ON HIS SHOULDERS!" Never mind that this doesn't fit in at all with the picture that was shown for TWO SEASONS

I got a feeling they are probably gonna try to fix a lifetime of wrongs by having god or god's vessel be a woman. You know how they like to steal from films. BUT IF THEY PULL THAT then wtf because god, so far, is apparently kind of an asshole! So I hope they DON'T do that.
