The Legend of Rah and the Muggles was a book I sporked some time ago. It was written in the '80s by one Nancy Stouffer, and its main claim to fame is that Stouffer sued Rowling for plagiarism, since she claimed Rowling stole the term "Muggles". Keep in mind that Stouffer's muggles were tiny, humanoid creatures, much like telletubbies.
Anyway, it was also laughably bad and the dialogue was very, very stilted.
This chapter makes no sense. Jack is worried about Kate, except he's not because 'she's a force to be reckoned with.' He wants to rescue her, but not if he can convince Jones to keep her. He tries to use Will and Elizabeth's love to convince Jones to keep Will, but we'll completely ignore that he and Kate are in the exact same situation. I almost expect Jack to start talking to himself like Gollum. "We loves Kate, we loves her! - No, we wants the squid man to take her! Then we have the nice Pearlies all to ourselves!"

Although I do think the "force to be reckoned with" bit was him lying to throw Jones off. Still...
