Oh wow, someone other than me has actually seen that movie?

Yup. I suppose it might be less painful to watch if you're a kid, but I made the mistake of watching it as an adult (I wanted to know how it would be seeing Tim Curry in a children's movie when you remember him from Rocky Horror). The whole thing was so spectacularly bad that we only survived it thanks to copious amounts of beer and mst3king.

I saw it as an adult as well. That thing was hilarious. XD (Um, was Tom Cruise really crawling around in just a tunic and no pants, or was I seeing things incorrectly?)

Um... I reckon he could have been hiding a pair of reeeeeally short hotpants under that garb :D

I admit I was more intrigued by the fact that from one moment on he strutted around the woods wrapped in layers upon layers of fur, while Lily kept running through the raging snow storm in nothing but that flimsy white gown (because, apparently searching Nell's house for appropriate winter wear was beneath her).

I guess. XD When he did a forward roll while being shot from behind, I honestly said "WOAH!" out loud. XD

There's that, yes. Although I guess it's supposed to be that Jack is a fairy/magical or something (a deleted scene apparently had that he was immortal), so...I guess his wardrobe was magic? And Lily didn't seem like the sharpest crayon in the box. XD

Sorry. The lulz- they are too much!
Personally, I don't mind song fics that much- when they are well written and not pretentious 'dumping huge chunks of insipid song lyrics randomly into the text to boost your word count' ones. However, given that this is Link's Queen....that's the least of my worries!
