[Jewel spends several minutes studying the instructions. Then she carefully fires up the odd contraptions and, after some consideration, settles on Wii Bowling.]

Would anyone care to challenge me? This looks like fun.

[He studies the instructions as well, and then frowns at the screen.]

Bowling? In that thing?

[A few moments of confusion -- how do you play without pins and a ball?]

Virtual bowling, it seems. This isn't that hard, actually, once you get used to it.

[She stands, Wiimote in hand and a look of concentration on her face. Stooping just a bit, she sends her virtual ball rolling down the aisle to knock over slightly more than half the pins.]

Considering I've never tried the real thing, I can only hope I'll do well.

[Well, he's never bowled either. But that won't stop him!]

[He isn't playing, but he has been standing behind someone playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for some time now, watching.

He wasn't sure before, but after a couple minutes it suddenly becomes abundantly clear exactly what's going on. It's...Ordon on the screen.... Ilia, goats, Midna and....himself, included.]

[Disregarding the person playing, he slowly walks closer to the television and examines it carefully. This is probably a little pathetic-looking from afar.]

[He is the one playing. Of course he would want to play this game -- the hero looks a great deal like himself and the story is one he can lose himself in. He is extremely good at the puzzles, and his fingers are already dexterous on the controls.]

[Link only notices the other after a few minutes. After looking at the other's clothes for a moment, he turns back to the game, making the Link on the screen roll around in the grass after stray rupees.]

[A bit helplessly, he watches the rolling around for a little while.]

[It's been one strange thing after another, but this about takes the cake.]

[He flinches toward the screen when an image of Zelda quickly flickers on and then off the screen in a flashback cut scene.]

[He blows the grass to call Epona in the game and rides her out into Hyrule Field, running over moblins on the way.]

[Midna comes out of his shadow and tells him to get a move on so they can find the Fuzed Shadows.]

[The Link from Dark World is just as relentless at playing this game as he would be saving a child from danger.]

Cooking Mama, anyone?

[Out of nowhere, the tv suddenly blares out:]

[BRB LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY AT YOU *A* ]

[Frowns and tries to flip the bacon on the frying pan on the screen at Keane]

[FAIL. And, cue more shouting from Mama.]

I WANT TO BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS~

[Having seen so many people down by the strange television set, Green finally decides to go over to see what's going on.]

[Approximately twenty minutes later, he's sitting on the gound with a Nintendo DS in hand, focusing intensely at the screen, as a little character-sprite runs through some tall grass. Suddenly, the screen flashes; a wild Pokemon has appeared! However, Green nearly groans.]

Aw, c'mon, another Bidoof? There's too many of 'em on this route!
