[Jewel spends several minutes studying the instructions. Then she carefully fires up the odd contraptions and, after some consideration, settles on Wii Bowling.]

Would anyone care to challenge me? This looks like fun.

[He studies the instructions as well, and then frowns at the screen.]

Bowling? In that thing?

[A few moments of confusion -- how do you play without pins and a ball?]

Virtual bowling, it seems. This isn't that hard, actually, once you get used to it.

[She stands, Wiimote in hand and a look of concentration on her face. Stooping just a bit, she sends her virtual ball rolling down the aisle to knock over slightly more than half the pins.]

Considering I've never tried the real thing, I can only hope I'll do well.

You've never bowled?

[Well, he's never bowled either. But that won't stop him!]

[Well, maybe the strangeness of the Wii controls will. The King of Evil throws two gutter balls! DX]

[Jewel is too nice to laugh at him.]

[He grunts -- he didn't ask for her help, and doesn't need it. Well, he won't complain, as long as she's offering.

After two more rounds, he gets the hang of it. Ganon is furiously competitive at the silly game, eyes intent on the screen and not much else.]

Much better.

[His competitive streak amuses her. Especially since she's winning.]

[old_man_ganon]

[Ah, he's getting a little angry. Losing isn't appealing; you never get used to it, no matter how often it happens to you.]

[There is a tiny angry flame inside him screaming, "Defeat her!"]

...

[He loses.]

...This is even more pointless than real bowling.

Perhaps the billiards would be more to your liking?

[She exits the bowling and pulls up the nine-ball. It requires a precision like nothing she's ever tried, and she keeps attempting to shoot the balls almost like she would shoot an arrow.]
