[What if this is that strange empty Hyrule? He looks around, and then he looks down at himself. No, he's still grown. But how much time has passed here? If this strange place could pull heroes from all sorts of Hyrules, then time doesn't have to flow the same as it does away from here.

[He sighs and rubs the back of his head, idly toying with the tie holding his hair back while he sifts through his memories, trying to remember what he could of this place.

[Someone is coming.

[He looks up at that, looking back and forth and quickly spotting the taller figure walking in his general direction. It's a figure he hasn't seen except for in a mirror for six years...]

Fierce?!

[It's childish -- far too much so -- but he doesn't care. What are you doing now? the god in his head has time to ask, but he doesn't bother answering. Instead he runs forward and throws his arms around Fierce, pulling himself close. The last time he did this... his face was against Fierce's lower stomach, but now, he can lean against the god's chest. He's a lot taller now, taller than he thought.

[But he's not thinking about that now. He's not thinking at all.]

[Zelda wanders in the chill of the morning, taking in the peace of the Field, letting that peace fill her mind in preparation for what will undoubtedly be another strange day, full of strange encounters. Walking alone, she sees someone she recognizes as Link ahead of her, an adult Link as she only saw him through Sheik's eyes, prior to arriving in this world. But she has met several of those, so her greeting is tempered.]

Hello, Link. [She lifts an arm to him, and wonders which one this is.]

[He stares at her for a second, more from surprise than anything. Is she his princess, or just one that looks like her...? He remembers meeting her here, once, long ago.

Nothing more than the few beasts that populate the field. I am simply walking my patrol route.
