[He was looking for a place to camp, traveling as he was from Hyrule Field to the Gerudo Desert and subdued by the new found emptiness of the land, when he heard the small cry. The young man turned toward the sound, holding absolutely still for a moment, even though he could see nothing. After a moment, he said in a carrying voice:]
[All he gets in return for that is a scoff, and a brief one at that. She's being chased, and hiding is done better quietly despite her want to snap right back at the bossy brat.]
[Where the wall creates the deepest shadow she stops, folding her wings and curling into a ball against it. Who knows, maybe he'll just step on her and she'll get to wake up from this insane dream she's having. That'd be grand.]
Oh hai, looking for him?feralcourageAugust 29 2009, 01:32:59 UTC
[Riven was still growing accustomed to the world he had found himself in. The setting sun brought on a world he was familiar with, one shrouded in darkness. He was at home in shadows, after all. Venturing further into the field, his red eyes caught sight of something completely unexpected.
Moving toward the stone wall, he gripped hilt of his sword as he investigated. And upon spotting the fairy, he dropped his hand and crossed his arms over his chest.]
[Even the colors are unfamiliar to her; the orange of the setting sun and purple of the darkening sky in this never ending expanse of world. Sky, she knew about sky and grass and trees and clouds from some unknown source, but had never seen them.]
[In her musings, she does not hear Riven's approach until his shadow adds onto hers. She jolts and nearly hauls wing before getting her first good look. It couldn't... no.]
You...but...
[It's Him, but he's wrong. And even as she stares up at him, his face is the same but the expression isn't. Like someone made a copy and with invisible mistakes.]
[Damn, she doesn't want to deal with this. She finally went crazy, guess it was only a matter of time. But with some frayed shred of hope, she looks up into those red eyes.]
[Was this a joke? Riven glanced around, half expecting someone to come out and declare that a very clever prank had been pulled on him. But once he set his gaze back on Ivan, he knew she was not joking.]
You tell me my name. [A scoff] How the hell should I know what your name is? I've only just met you.
[Well, that settled that. She knows she would normally be angry at being scoffed at, but suddenly she just doesn't have the energy for it anymore.]
You're not mine. [A pause as she looks away.] He didn't have a name.
[She picks herself up and flutters over to a deeper shadow cast by the wall. She doesn't feel like looking around anymore, in this cruel dream of hers. Instead she just folds her wings and sits, staring at her knees.]

Who's there? Show yourself.
(ooc: I don't mind cursing in the slightest.)

Yeah. That'll happen. You want me to hold still while you set me on fire too? 'Cause I apparently live for that shit.
[The sarcasm is just thick enough to cover the panic as she slowly floats along the darkest section of the wall, away from the other's call.]
(ooc:Off to work, I'll tag when I get back!)

You'll be lucky if that's the least I do, if you don't show yourself right now!
[He's following the voice as he delivers this threat. Coming from the dark part of the wall...?]
