It's your turn today.
Is it? [Beneath the solitary tree, he stretched out his legs and settled his hands behind his head.] All right, when we get out of here... we'll fly on the wind.
[There was a disgruntled jingle as she huffed and swatted his ear.]I already fly, genius. You suck at this.
[He merely chuckled and looked up to the unchanging ceiling.]
Nah, not with wings. We'll fly with songs.
...Songs?
Yeah. [His voice took a far off tone as he watched an invisible sky.] We'll play the song and the notes will take us away to the place they were born, one song for each spot under the sky.
[There was a long, comfortable pause as they both mused.]
You're crazy.
[His laugh echoed softly across the water.] Well, good thing I'll have you around to set me straight, then.
Damn right.

[In the corner of the vacant room of the water temple was a shadow darker than all the rest. The water, mist, and island had long vanished, the chamber empty and nondescript. And still she sat, staring at her knees, the only movement an occasional flutter of her shadowy wings.]
You know...I was wondering something.
[The shadows around her darkened, obscuring her from view.]
How are WE supposed to get out of here...
...if YOU'RE NOT HERE?
[Her shout went unanswered, as she knew it would. Finally, she sighed and looked up from her knees.]
[Her view was met with a sea of grass, for a moment she merely stared, then looked down to find she was sitting on even more grass. Startled, she jumped awkwardly into the air to be assaulted by a beam of the setting sun. With a muffled cry she darted for the nearest shadow behind a stone wall, flattening herself against it and looking around in a mix of fear and suspicion. What now?]
(ooc: Er, hi guys, say hello to Ivan. If you are adverse to swearing please tell me beforehand and I will edit her for you. She... well let's say she's not exactly friendly at the moment.)
