[He starts as a bramble nearby suddenly grows blackberries. (Ripe ones, too, and beautifully sweet.) Licking a droplet of juice off his fingers, he sits and watches the dancing girl, waiting for the dance to end.]

[Finally she begins to slow, and with a final burst of energy, she culminates the dance in a spirited back handspring, landing on the field in a perfect split. She bows her upper half over the leg extended in front, not moving for a few seconds, letting her body relax. She'll observe her company presently.]
