[Spring's time has drawn to its end; its annual duties have concluded. Today is the day to awaken the Summer.]
[The Oracle of Seasons makes her way to the center of Hyrule Field. Hyrule has no Temple of Seasons, but she finds the field suitable to her work. It is bright, and open, and lets her commune with the spirits perfectly well.]
[A long

[Which is why he doesn't immediately notice the dancing girl nearby until the dance has already started - and then he can't look away.]
[It's like watching fire.]
[He starts as a bramble nearby suddenly grows blackberries. (Ripe ones, too, and beautifully sweet.) Licking a droplet of juice off his fingers, he sits and watches the dancing girl, waiting for the dance to end.]

[Finally she begins to slow, and with a final burst of energy, she culminates the dance in a spirited back handspring, landing on the field in a perfect split. She bows her upper half over the leg extended in front, not moving for a few seconds, letting her body relax. She'll observe her company presently.]

[Not approaching her directly, he settles for calling out softly -] That was beautiful.

[Din looks up and regards the Sheikah curiously.]
I hope I didn't disturb you?

[The... he supposes it was a verse... words that she spoke before, he had caught the word summer towards the end, hadn't he? And that reminds him of the date, glancing up in to the clear blue sky and the bright sun overhead.]
The dance you did - it is because it is the solstice?
Reply
You could say that, yes. Celebrating the arrival of summer. I do a dance like this on all the solstices and equinoxes.

[Well, that much is obvious, at least. He ducks his head a bit, laughing softly.]
I mean - do you dance year-round, or just on the solstices and equinoxes?

[Din is not his favourite goddess - if only because she is the patron of Ganondorf.]
[Partially to confirm that this is the same Din that Shad spoke of - ah, she must also be the other he had met with red eyes - he asks,] And where is home?

Holodrum. It's a neighbor to Hyrule, at least in my own time. In this time, I don't know. And...who might you be?
Reply
...You wouldn't have happened to have heard of Subrosians, would you? One mentioned Holodrum before. [A beat.] He was very odd.
[There was a question there, wasn't there?] My name is Sheik, by the way.

[She thinks.]
Let's see. I was here for the spring equinox, so...a little more than a season. You?
Reply
In this Hyrule, at least. I am from here, originally. Just... not this version.

[She does some limber stretches, not liking to stay still very long.]
I've yet to find anyone else from Holodrum. I did meet one man from Labrynna, though. And two people from a place called Termina.
[She prefers to not think about them, however.]
