First of ALL...ARES not Aries. Aries is the fucking ram.

Second of ALL...EVEN RYAN SAYS ARES IS NOT EMO. (Yes and we both took Classical Myth together, so we are not making shit up out of our asses)

Third of ALL...Ares' name means "the battle din" hence he is not emo, he is a person who has raging hormones and is trying to kill something. Which is true for him since he blows and everyone hates him. He's like one of those angry guys you expect to have a mohawk. (Ryan says that you should expect him to be like Mr. T or Rambo)

Fourth of ALL...In the Iliad, Ares does not say "Woe is me, no one understands me ~angst~" He ACTUALLY says "zomg Zeus I'm injured, OW. Healmeplz." And Zeus says "zomg like fuck no 'cause everyone hates you except your mom. and Aphrodite. I'd so disown you if your mom wasn't such a hot fucker." The one who always says "WOE IS ME" is Apollo, that lyrical fucker.

The reason why Ares is not emo --> HE ISNT SUICIDAL.

He's afraid of pain and hurt and stuff like that. Emo kids...like...embrace it.

(And really, Zeus only keeps Ares since it means scoring points with Hera. We ALL know that. Not in this verse maybe but it's Greek myth well known fact #5593)

Ah, I was not aware that emo kids were required to be suicidal ^^ I thought it was just that the two tend to be associated. Yes, I understand that Ares is not into hurt and pain, as per my earlier post. Hence my questioning if it would be more appropriate to classify him as a school bully or jock or something.

(Yes. I am aware, I was just pointing out that it wasnt there in the verse~)
