[After getting some outdated directions from Sokka, Blackbeard arrives at House 46.  He believes that the Straw Hat Pirates are here, but its current occupant might not enjoy being shouted at for no apparent reason.]

[And here's someone to answer the door. He doesn't look terribly amused.]

[For most people, that would hurt quite a bit. In Teach's case, it still did, but he's survived being literally covered in a type of poison that melts normal people, so relatively speaking, a hammer to the head is nothing.]

'Kay, that's it! If Straw Hat ain't gonna fight his own battles, I'll just have to destroy his house! [The dark substance spreads from Blackbeard's body again, covering the base of the house along with a good number of nearby trees.] Black Hole! [With that, the trees and the house slowly sink into the darkness. The house is sinking in slower than the trees are, partially due to its size and partially because the trees were already in bad shape from the last time he tried this.]

Do you people always have to name your attacks? [Blackbeard has severely overestimated how much John cares about the house. The ring will fire a decidedly less solid construct this time around, this time arcing into a green crackling lightning beam that he sends in the pirate's direction.]

O' course! It's a tradition! [The lightning hits Blackbeard, coursing along his body. The destruction of the house stops as he is stunned, but he quickly regains his senses. Leaving the house damaged but still standing, he decides to release the trees, which had already been sucked into the darkness.] Liberation! [With that, splintered logs and branches shoot out of the cloud that is spewing from Blackbeard's back, covering a wide area and smashing into the ground at high speeds.]

[The sudden debris forces John to relent on his attack and throw up a quick shield to cause the splintered wood to bounce off harmlessly. Maintaining his position, he starts to expand the bubble in Blackbeard's direction, slowly engulfing everything around him and negating the effect of Blackbeard's power within the sphere.]

[Wait, weren't their powers negated by wood? Just kidding.

Having no idea what that thing is, Blackbeard decided to violate all common sense by running at the energy bubble and punching it as hard as he can. He figures that, if he hits it hard enough, whatever it's made of will break.]
