Life on the seven-fox-farm

The most notable development to come out of my observations this week has been a correction to the litter count.  It's hard to number all of these scurrying individual fox kits, but one afternoon I got it pinned down to five.  It's even more difficult to capture them all in one photo frame, so four of them together will have to do.  I don't know ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, the grass is growing even more quickly than the foxes. Soon, I will only see the tips of their ears!

How come the father fox is so hard to photograph? This reminds me of you. Maybe he just doesn't like how he looks in pictures.

Because he prefers the low light of crepuscular conditions. He doesn't want to end up as someone's userpic.
