That wasn't there last time I looked

I'm glad this didn't happen on Sunday or some of us might be a little flatter than we were before...

Whoa, glad you got yourself a chainsaw there, Zebra!

Also...is there a Cliff notes version of the Book With A Very Long Title? It all sounds fascinating!

It is, in fact I'm having trouble putting it down. I should probably be focusing on the books on the reading list!

Had my first philosophy lecture today...

Cool! You're gonna be great. When's your lectures? Can I sit in with you if we're there at the same time?

Thurs 10:30am. I thought you said the other night that you weren't there on Thursdays?

(P.S. I just watched Deadwood - grabbed Trille's copy. Happy to watch it again next week though if you want!)

Is she ever over this way? I changed schools after Yr 9 and didn't know her very well, but I'm going to drop her a note after I finish the book.

She visits occasionally, but dancingmascot is always in contact with her if you want us to pass on your wishes.

Whoopsie!

Last year I was leaving our house to go work out when I happend to notice that our giant pear tree was lying tragically across our lawn. I hadn't heard a thing and still have no idea why it came down, but, man, did it take my husband and I FOREVER to move that sucker.

Hey, long time no hear. How's the training going?

I've now got two big trees to cut up. This one I think I can manage, but the other one's on the other side of the creek, lying on my boundary fence and about twice as big. It's in the too hard basket at the moment.

I was on vacation at the beach, so was sans internet access.
The training is going well, although I've been feeling icky the past week or so. I figure it's just getting back into the swing of things, i.e. real life versus vacation. I did run (and kind of swim in the ocean), but have worked hard this past week to get over my general malaise.

Have fun being a lumberjack.

This sounds like another job for a random group of fans. We're better known for planting trees than destroying them, but it's important to diversify. :)
