It was lots of fun. I only knew about it because it was advertised at Swancon, but should make more of an effort in future to keep an eye on what WASO is doing.

I clicked expecting to maybe see some sort of wild bears you have that we don't. You should have heard my snort of laughter when I saw what the bears really were. Glad you enjoyed the concert. It sounds pretty nice.

No wild bears in Australia!

I very, very rarely go to a concert, but this one was advertised at the science fiction convention I went to recently and I liked the sound of it. It's one of those things I should do more often, but never think about (probably since my mind is normally occupied by obsessing over TV shows!).

Hahahahaha, drop bears!!!

Love your orchestra thoughts (wish I could've gone!)

I was thinking the other day of all the slashy shows I watch, which one has the best possibility of 'going there'? And the answer was House. (Sigh.)

Maybe someone on the street had an overseas visitor coming and was making a joke?

Yes, it makes sense! I think of House as canonically bisexual, though I know that might be a bit of a stretch. Wilson might still have dreams of a loving wife and children, but the latest episode would have shown him that House cares for him more than he ever thought (in my mind, he's known since S5 how much House needs him, but not how much House loves him). It really would fit. I keep remembering the end of Boston Legal and thinking, why not? Not that I want them to get married, just to acknowledge that they are each other's life partners and be happy about it!

Bears! I want to take them down and give them a hug!

There's a small grotto in a bend on the King's Highway that's called Pooh's Corner which is often full of stuffed toys.

I know! We're finally getting some rain here and they're going to get wet and bedraggled!

I just looked up Pooh's Corner and found mention of the stuffed toys and also this landslide. Hope nobody was in the wrong place when that happened!

That was the worst landslide on the highway in a number of years, but thankfully no one was around at the time.
