For the first time in many years The Daily Show managed to not amuse me. I have been following the Alexander Litvinenko story pretty closely, and I found this man's picture with the suffering so prominent in his eyes as a backdrop to a grimacing and jesticulating John Stewart macabre and offensive. The Daily Show-offensive? What else is new? I

It's a good choice of hero.

And yeah... bizarre, politically motivated poisonings in ex-Soviet countries are just too macabre to be funny.
