I just have to say I caught the Aqua Teen Hunger Force "terrorist" story on Fox News (it's the only thing we get at work), and while their newsman was bookending the story, they had a large picture of the green mooninite giving the finger. Made my day.
For those that know the show..

The Cartoon Network launches a guerilla marketing campaign in 10 cities and an ever-vigilant Boston shuts down in a panic two or three weeks later.

Yeah, I saw this this morning on CNN. I started giggling, thinking, "That's one of the moon aliens from Aqua Teen flipping the bird," before I figured out that this was a huge fiasco/boon for the network.

This stunt went over without a hitch in Austin and other cities. What's the deal with Boston?

I had a sneaking suspicion that a little negative press would've been good for the marketing campaign. Maybe if Boston had arrested the guys and fined them a couple thou each, the marketing firm would've been thrilled. I mean, how much press has ATHF gotten in the past year? Not this much.

Unfortunately, this is probably going to cost Turner and Interference a lot more than they bargained for.

My question: Was this a successful campaign or, if you'll pardon the pun, a bomb? Zarq, I'd like to hear what you think.
