ASDFGHJKL YESSSSS THANK YOU. I will download the shit out of that jacket. I finally caved and got the game and I'm working perfecting pretty shading in pro designs. Tips?

Man unfortunately the palette in ACNL is pretty limited, so you're not going to be able to shade things super nice a lot of the time unless you're doing something in grayscale. This really sucks for things that are weird colors, like... Godot's shirt for example. It's hard to find a good base tone that also has a light/dark complement that's not too light or too dark :O

Sometimes you just gotta compromise and go for a color that's close to the original, but has smoother light/dark options for shading if you like. But honestly for the most part I didn't shade things too much. :O There's ambient lighting in ACNL in general that can do some of the work for you. BUT IT IS A LITTLE RESTRICTED WHICH CAN BE FRUSTRATING
