So today Alix dropped by and I got to try out his 3DS with the new Kid Icarus game! The 3D effect is kind of fascinating, but it can get sort of headachey and also it's kind of annoying not being able to shift your head a lot

i'm disappointed to hear how horrible the scripting sounds in kid icarus for obvious reasons but i can not in any way say i'm really surprised considering his last encarnation had that icaus-related speech impediment. but i am a little shocked they went with the snarky wit action. it's like man wow that's kind of a step backwards

omg I just looked at the dating market value tests and OH MY GOD they are the skeeviest things ever. The male version gives you points for being an asshole to women and you lose points for being a decent human being, while the female version subtracts points if you don't act grateful and treat men like gods for deigning to pay attention to you. Also, the male one is almost entirely about your behavior (how much you treat women like trash, what your job and social status is, etc.) while the female one is almost entirely about physical appearance, especially sexualized body parts like breasts and ass. The male one has some appearance questions but nothing about penis size or firm buttocks. The female one is also way harsher. In fact, you automatically lose 10 points just for being a girl because girls are apparently too vain to evaluate themselves correctly.
