I thought shimeji only interacted with IE windows? Unless you mean, they only do climbing idle on specifically IE, not firefox or windows messenger, etc... ?

They don't idle on the edge of the desktop I guess.

They do, well, I mean they can interact with most internet browsers, like Firefox and maybe Opera? And also MSN windows. But I think those are the only ones. But they'll only do the climbing idle when they're climbing a window, and not climbing the side of your monitor for some reason.
