~Fun with Day of the Tentacle - Snubbed by a Horse

Mar 26, 2006 17:59

Another rollicking fun filled adventure awaits you! There are only around 200 for this one. I COULD have pushed it to 400 but eh, I might as well break it up.
Mostly me wandering around the Inn in this one and picking up items here and there. All of which will be important, in time!

Never know when you might need to make pasta.

Never know when you'll need a bucket full of water! It's like rope.

Anyway it's probably about time I went and talked to Red Edison. Let's go!

I love the music in here. I don't even really know why, just fer some reason I really, really like it. I'm a big dork.
Hey, left handed hammer! Yoink.

Red sounds, as ya probably guessed, like Dr. Fred. Except maybe a little more mellow.

hehehe.

I love that Red also wrings his hands just like Dr. Fred does.

It's true, they look nothing like him, as we'll see.

Imagine the disgust on the word "ARTISTS".

A button?

Hehehe.

At this point I remembered that I need to give Red something that Bernard has, so I clicked his picture to switch back to him.

BACK IN THE PRESENT

Hahaha, sensitive, Dr. Fred.

Hint hint.

I played this game a lot, as you can probably guess. The sad thing is that I didn't know about this shortcut for a long time. Serves me right fer not reading the manual I guess. ANYWAY if you want to send something to one of the other kids, you just click on the item, then the picture of that kid. So here, I'm going to send Hoagie the "Help Wanted" sign.
Before I knew you could do this, I would actually walk the kid to the Chron-o-John and do it manually. I know. Shut up.

Here, have a flier too.

How Hoagie does this.

Yoink.

Now what could I do with a flier that says this?

I love how Hoagie says this. I need to find the clip of that somewhere.

MEANWHILE, IN THE FUTURE

This is ahead of myself, really, I could have put this off but eh. I did it now.

Upstairs, in the past! That painting looks familiar.

Hehehehe.

WHOSE ROOM COULD THIS BE

I didn't catch it here, but Hoagie just bumps the bed with his hip and it gets all messed up. Hee hee.

The maid's got an irish accent, I think.

For some reason that line cracks me up. I don't know why. Maybe it's how she says it.

I like having goofy conversations like this with characters, because I know in DOTT I won't die for having them. It's comforting.

SOAP IS ALL MINE HAHAHAHAHA

Sudsy water!

Hey, it's Betsy Ross! She sounds pretty normal, as voices go, so I didn't get a clip for her. Her music is pretty standard.

hee hee.

I love all of Hoagie's suggestions, but here's a voice clip of one not on the list which made me laugh way too hard.

Ho ho, I will abuse this later.

Franklin's room! Like the penguin calendar, Franklin.

Wine, ooo.

hee hee.

I love the fact that there's a random horse on the third floor.

WHY NOT

Are you surprised? I'M NOT.

The horse has this kind of deep, kind of gravely voice. Hee hee. He sounds very unamused with Hoagie.

How the horse says this line

Hahahaha, I love how offended Hoagie sounds when he says this.

I will have those teeth.

Alright, enough harrassing the horse.

Next up, meeting Ned and Jed, the identical twin artists!
