IiPs - Ideas in Progress

Feb 13, 2011 19:22

Mostly sticking these here for my own reference, so that I can go back later and look at all the things I didn’t write. (Or, less likely, how long it took to get from idea to story.)

H50: agents and their handlers )

cracky bunnies love me, h50, merlin, pretentious writing stuff, random stuff

He would be such a perfectly jaded bastard. And people would still obey his every order. Except for Merlin, heh.

I like spies, too! I'm just scared of the research I might have to put into it to make it somewhat believable...

I want this story to exist like whoa. Arthur would make for an amazing vampire, and I just love the idea of both sides having to give up something - Arthur, eventually, his immortality; Merlin his normal life with his friends (because other vampires not so happy). Just, yeah...

I am so down with more H50 fic from you!

The original fic seems intriguing too - I like the idea of total opposites meeting like that - but would he really have a bodyguard if he's an American in Paris?

I am on a total, all-encompassing H50 trip at the moment, so I'm actually surprised the Merlin idea hit me in the first place. Theyaresomarried!

I think he might have a bodyguard on special occasions, like for public events and some such? As the son of a high-profile target, that might be sensible. Not for everyday life, but in my head, he's on the way to some event when Jerome tries to steal from him.

I have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge thing about opposites.

They really, really are! I always forget, stupidly, until I watch a new episode and then I just spend a lot of time flailing at my screen.

I just...okay, they're both first world countries, the US and France are one good terms, there's no conflict...it seems unlikely? I mean, it's ultimately a personal choice, but as a dip brat who's parent has been a deputy high comissioner (which is the same as ambassador, just in commonwealth countries) that just seems like one of those things that movies exaggerate. But whatever works.

Me tooo!

Your brain must be a pretty, pretty place to live. Nnnnnnnnngh. I'm totally down for all the H50 ficcage, so shiny and glorious, and yes, I'd love to see Danny as something other than a cop, State Attorney = awesomeness, and the handler idea is perfect. *purrs* Reminds me a bit of the Hamburg Tatort set-up, with Mehmet Kurtulus as Cenk Batu, a loner who goes undercover a lot and a blond guy (forgot his name, alas, but he's called Uwe Kohnau in the series) who's his handler. Pretty slashy. *coughs*

Also, vampire!Arthur - fascinating. Yis.

Once my brain gets into plotting mode, it can happily churn away for hours on an idea, toss scenes my way, all that. Unfortunately, it mostly likes to do that when I should fall asleep.

I really like the agent/handler idea (no TV means no Tatort, though), and I actually think that yeah, I might try to get a start on that. It would be fun! It could be set in exotic places! And I'm cautiously optimistic that I might be able to pick other people's brains on the research aspect of it...

I, um. Yeah. Okay, still thinking about signing up for Big Bang - then I would be forced to write vampire!Arthur. Because I want him in my life.
