Mostly sticking these here for my own reference, so that I can go back later and look at all the things I didn’t write. (Or, less likely, how long it took to get from idea to story.)

If you're taking a poll, I vote for H50 and the agent/handler story. I can almost hear the bickering over comms already.

ME TOO!!! Seriously, that was why the idea initially planted itself in my head. Danny bitching Steve out while simultaneously watching out for him? Yes, please. We had that in the show already, come to think of it!

Vampire!Arthur! I am so intrigued by that snippit. Also - 30k? Pshhhh. Are any of your stories actually shorter than that, excluding some drabbles? You could totally do it. You should totally do it. :D

I love the fact that it's a 30k limit! I heartily approve! Which, um. Yeah. I have until Feb 28 to make up my mind, but... I think I might sign up. I want Vampire!Arthur in my life, y'see. Blond and jaded and used to getting his way!

Oh. Awesome! I am so in favor of you signing up; vampire!Arthur would definitely improve my life... it just works so well! Jaded vampires are the most fun, anyway. I will cheerleader you so hard, if that will help! (It's like all the fun of writing but none of the work! :p)

Spy AUs! I love them, so much! Reading them is awesome, oh yes, yes! Writing kind of scares me, though. I need to work on the ops they could work, I think, first. Because I'm not sure about those and how they would work. And I want to have Danny interfer in one op to help Steve out, and-- Yeah. I'm kind of lost, right now.

Well, one instance could be that during an op, with Danny in a black blacked out van monitoring the security cameras and directing Steve where to go, Steve gets into a fistfight and loses his earpiece. Danny starts yelling that there are two men approaching where Steve is and five more coming up the stairs with Uzis, which what? In Manhatten? What are these crooks drinking?! And Steve's not responding so Danny gets worried and who the fuck authorized Steve the idiot to do this op by himself and he dashes out of the van and races to where Steve was last seen. And as he peeks the corner quietly, his mouth drops open. Steve is standing (alive, alive, his mind babbles) with several dead bodies surrounding him. Danny even spots the Uzi guys, dead.

"Could you answer your comm next time? Just so to prevent me from having a heart attack, y'know?"

Steve grins, the fucker, and says, "I've got the information, Handler Dan. Let's go."

Y/N/MFY? \o/ Hahahaha! I realized it wasn't Danny helping him out but I just couldn't resist it this way. :P

Yes! This! Absolutely! This is awesome, and it could still be Danny saving Steve if there was one guy left, just creeping up on Steve while he's nearly done dealing with the others, and Danny shoots him. This would be their second op, I think.

The first one would be something (relatively) easy, because they're freshly paired, so Chin would want to test the waters. I'm thinking planting a virus in some facility would be a good one, Danny hacking into the security system and monitoring the cameras and all.

And then, after they had sex (after op #2, high and a little crazy from the adrenaline and Steve very nearly dying if Danny hadn't ignored protocol), Danny's the one who wants to pretend it never happened, and there will be an exchange something along the lines of: (Danny to Steve) "Stop pretending you have it all under control. There's a reason why handlers and agents should never get involved, because it leads to disaster." - (Steve to Danny) "Sure, I'll stop. As soon as you stop being too proud to admit that you want this. ( ... )

They all sound good, but 2 and 3 sound AMAZING (particularly 3, like OMG). Can't wait to see what you do.

p.s. there’s a maul in his team - it should be mole, not maul.

I'm... not sure yet. I have two more weeks to decide whether to sign up for Merlin Big Bang. And I'm currently leaning more towards agent/handler, just, ugh, how to make that work? I do not know!
