Unfortunately, I have no good excuse for this, but I blame the script writers and their inexplicable fondness for Arthur restraining Merlin. Because it made me wonder how the boys like filming those scenes. Um. D/s depends very much on how it's done, if you ask me. If I get the sense that there isn't enough mutual respect between the characters, I'm out of there.

I was planning to write some epic D/s fic a while back, so I spent some time discussing the matter with people who actually know what they're talking about. It certainly helped me here...

I don't know. Maybe I'll revive the idea at some point, but the original idea was for Bandom (and I'd written more than 10 000 words already when I got stuck), and I kind of liked it when I reread it recently, but. Not in Bandom anymore, so... It would have to be for a fandom where the idea and the dynamic works for the characters, and... Maybe it could, here. We'll see. Right now, I somehow fell into Sherlock Holmes, um.

Thank you. (I think it's a common misconception that pain and bondage is what D/s is about. The way I understood, it's more about both partners living out their needs.)
