I don't think it matters what she originally intended though. Honestly, I think the fact that she plots so much out in advance might be responsible for some of the weaker moments in the book (the epilogue, 20,000 years of camping ( ... )

Speaking of Tonks and Lupin, if Harry was the godfather, does that mean that he had to raise Teddy from the point when he was still 17? Or was he perhaps raised by the Weasleys?

The fanon on this one so far seems to be that he was raised by his grandmother.

I thought both of Tonks's parents died. Or do you mean Lupin's? Do we know anything about his parents?

I think Andromeda is still alive. I didn't get the impression she was all that involved in the fight, and she's pure-blood, so they wouldn't have gone after her liked they did Ted. A search for her name in the book doesn't say anything about death, or even fighting, or really even presence.

The only thing we know about Lupin's parents is that his father was a wizard and his mother was a Muggle.
