I miss the PNW! I miss mountains! And the sound!

But I am enjoying the snow, though we warmed up (all the way to the mid 30s!) this weekend and most of the snow melted, despite it being 20f. If it's this cold there should be snow!

And it's really nice being near my mom and my sister & her family.

I asked my mom how long the snow will last after we got hit with that big storm about 10 days ago. Her answer? "May". Gah!!

I've always been a dog person. But I can't have one in the house here so kitty! And she found us; it's hard to say no to the cuteness!

I'm really very excited at the prospect of going back to school. And slightly intimidated! But you're right; it's nice to come home to a kitty!

So far she's really pretty well behaved for a kitten. I think she's figured out her life involves less yelling if she stays off the kitchen counter and the dining room table!
