I have completed a pair of knitted socks in the cuff to toe fashion. Once the sock was presented to the owner it fits well except for the original cast-on edge where the sock began is a bit too tight. Is there a way that I can undo the first or second row and redo the ribbing going up towards the knee instead of the usual down to the ankle? And if ( Read more... )

I have found myself in the use of crutches. *sigh*
I was thinking of a knitted something to help out with the rigid foam for the underarm area. (At least until I get the proper hang of them)
I have searched for patterns but have yet to have any luck. Any suggestions?

I have been searching for a really good monkey chart but have not found exactly what I am looking for.
If I were to make my own chart via Open Office Calc ( or say Excel) what sizes do the square need to be? I know that the knit stitch is taller than it is wide, but does this matter?
