So I was watching the evening news with my parents and they do a 2 second blurb on the RNC protests. It was something along the lines of: "police were forced to use rubber bullets and gas to control a group of SELF-DESCRIBED ANARCHISTS!." The news caster says it like it's armageddon. I just read about this and it's really fucked up. She didn't do anything wrong, just what she's been doing for years now, and I wouldn't be suprised if she had done the same thing at past DNC/RNC's.

I also recently found out that Spoonboy from The Max Levine Ensemble/Spoonboy/Los Gatos Negros was arrested at the RNC recently.

Certainly! Certainly I am more free than blacks, latinos, women, homosexuals, uninsured and those in debt... oh wait I'm uninsured because you have to have a corporate job to be insured in America, and I'm in debt because college is not free in America as it is in many countries. Hey at least I'm not outwardly gay!) Also, we're much more free than the countless people around the world who are sanctioned by our military (which means no trading with other countries which brings no livelihood which brings death) and we're much more free than the innocent people who are illegally detained and tortured at guantanamo bay and other places. All of these atrocities are funded by our and our families' taxes, btw.

But that's all besides the point, Here's what I'm really getting at:

and yes, i am freer than most. but all americans aren't across the board, and people effected by us policy- hell's no! hopefully i'll be brave enough to risk fighting with them rather than living the comfortable life at my fingertips.
