I think this might be my favorite of this group that you've posted :) Your words are incredibly effective at showing the paradox Adora feels, caught between her blood and her role. Its almost as if she feels guilty for indulging this side of her, a side she barely even knows, but finds some pride in nonetheless. She still loves her mother, and she's willing to do these seemingly useless things in order to please her.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that's a damn lot of depth for less than 230 words, LOL. Very nicely done!
