*hug* OMG I'm so sorry to hear this! Considering how much I live on my computer, I understand your pain. Acutely. My fingers are crossed that you can get something working again.
Ugh...computer crap. I hate that. I went through it myself a few months ago - though spyware, not harware issues - and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Hope it gets working again soon.
