For the first time since March of 2008, I'm having an open drabble request...thingy. I'm never sure what to call these. Anyway! Here's how it'll work
( Read more... )
Fandom:Marvel Comics --Is a Storm/Gambit fic all right? I'm not sure how much you've delved into the series, but there was a alternate universe comic they did, where Storm was a vampire and Gambit had fallen in love with her (had gotten bitten by her). Maybe something along those lines?
Fandom:Bleach --Renji/Yoruichi squabble. A conversation with teasing, or something like that. Do what you feels best for those too.
Thanks for offering this to everyone. But, you realize, since you posted it at kurosaki_clinc, many people are going to request fics. XD But, I hope you have much fun doing this!

Well, yeah, I'm expecting a fair number of requests. You note it's been three years since I did this last? There's a reason for that. Still, it's fun, so what the hell.
I need some time away from the Six, Remy'd said. I need to clear my head It wasn't completely a lie, more like a...misdirection. He did need time. He did need perspective. But it wasn't the Six that drove him to it. It was Ororo. It was the curse she'd given, the curse she represented to him.
He'd gone so far to save her, given up so much to stay with her and...and what? What did he have now? A team. A family, of sorts. As much of the future as he could get his grubby hands on. And the knowledge that no matter what he did, he'd never have what--or who--he truly wanted.
Perspective. Not all it's cracked up to be. ---- Hn. Well, it's been a long, long time since I've been in the Mutant X fandom, and I'm afraid it shows. Nonetheless, will this do?
The Princess calls. I must answer. The stellar spirit world dissolved around her as Virgo followed the pull of the contract to her mistress, Lucy. She manifested with her head bowed, as one of her station should. "Your wish is my command, Princess."
Her obsequiousness was met by laughter and a gentle hand under her chin, wordlessly urging her to raise her eyes to meet those of her mistress. "Come on, Virgo, no need for that. This is a happy occasion, right?"
"Princess?"
And there. That's the smile that first drew Virgo in, the same one that binds her closer than any chains or contract ever will. "It's a very happy occasion, Virgo. It's the anniversary of the day you gave me your key." ----
Hmm, that's different. The ending of the drabble just disappeared on me. Nonetheless, will this do?
Bleach and TF07 = Worlds Apart for me, so you're getting a mini-installment in that series. It references this fic, so.
Approximately four hours after Ironhide and Ikkaku met, both of them were well and truly fragged to the pit and back. Apparently, there were only so many point-blank explosions a shinigami and an Autobot could stand before they both needed serious medical attention. Ironhide was left to Ratchet's tender mercies, Ikkaku was sent back to the Fourth division, and his division sent a temporary replacement. Unfortunately, that replacement was Yumichika, and the only Autobot available to greet him was Sunstreaker.
"How...garish. How perfectly hideous. I demand you remove your ugliness from my presence immediately."
I'm not much better atm, but let's give this a shot. I'm assuming that Toothless isn't that old himself here. Makes more sense that way. ---
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III."
"Yes Ast--Toothless, off--yes, Astrid?"
"I am going home. You are going to have a word with your dragon. Right. Now."
"Astrid wait! I, you're already gone. Great. Just greatness."
Hiccup leveled a glare at his partner that was more vicious even than those he gave to their enemies. Toothless stopped growling at Astrid's retreating back to give him a curious look in return. Was something...wrong? But Hiccup had been attacked--and by right on the mouth, to boot. Toothless didn't know why Astrid would do that but it was clearly something that required his intervention.
So...why was Hiccup so angry? And why was he giving off such odd pheromones

Oooh, I might have to request some Star Trek: TNG because that is kinda sorta my guilty pleasure (of many, LOL). Anything starring Picard is awesomecakes in my book! =)
And I might be back for a second one, after I find/rewatch Jem on YouTube, LOL!!

"Don't know why, considering your past crimes against fashion," Yoruichi--okay yes, admit it--purred.
"Oh, and you'd know about fashion, is that it? I'll believe that when I--"
"When you...?"
Off to the side, Ichigo and Byakuya stood, waiting for Renji to give in to the inevitable.
"Poor bastard," Ichigo murmured.
"Stupid, stubborn bastard," Byakuya corrected. "And I'd know."
"There is that, yeah."

Also, good luck! Maybe it's just me, but churning out drabbles is hard work.

The Autobot base was never the same again.

Toothless sees Hiccup and Astrid kissing and panics, thinking Astrid is trying to eat Hiccup, and goes into defense mode.
