THANKS. HORNY NOW!

I have a love/hate relationship with guitars. So much fun to collect, but you can't possibly play them all!

I'm with photosexual. :)

That Gibson Explorer (9th shot) has to be the best guitar shape ever. Total sex. That plank hooked up to the Soldano half-stack would blow my mind. LOL

Very enjoyable. I have a Guild F-50 1973 out on consignment but no luck selling it. Don't have the courage to try E-bay.

Do you have photos of the guitar? How much are you hoping to get? (you can respond in email if you prefer.

There are four photos of the guitar here:

I have it on consignment with a small music store in the area and the price is $2100. It is a Guild F-50 Jumbo, serial numbers indicate it was made in 1973.

i was never very interested in guitars until i saw on 'antiques roadshow' how much they are worth. holy smoke! i first came to your work in the fine art nude genre, but i can see that your illustrative "objects" photography is nothing to sneeze at either. guitars, airplanes, woodcarvings, you pretty much do it all. and very well.

I've had various guitars for 30 years. The Black Les Paul (first guitar photo) used to be mine. I had that guitar for 21 years. I had never been interested in photographing guitars... or the cliche guitars and nudes together until my friend suggested that I photograph his collection. I looked around to see what was being done in this genre and went from there. I think there is more to explore with lighting on individual guitars, but this was put together as a collection... so once we got it set up... it was kind of an assembly line. There are many more photos showing various details of each guitar for the collector, but I wanted to show an overview for this gallery to display it as a collection and another item I can illustrate... once again... I very much appreciate your kind words!

that brings back some memories -- les paul and mary ford, singing about the world waiting for the sunrise. i couldn't believe anyone's fingers could move that fast. and, of course, stan freeburg proved how dangerous it was in his version when the guitar finally exploded from excess speed. i suppose if you owned it, you played it too? are you still a musician?

This is brilliant! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63Df09Sodpk (and part 3)

The last three years have not allowed much time for this passion but I'm a singer/songwriter/guitar player and hope to finally do some recording later this year.
