Well, right now, Yuna's starting her pilgrimage and she's gotta go to all these places. I'm coming along with them- with Wakka, Lulu, Yuna and Kimahri. They think someone will know me in some place called Lucca.

Till we get there, though, Wakka's given me a sword, to help fight against the fiends we run across. He says it's kinda like me getting a chance to be a guardian.

And what are fiends? Like monsters? And whose guardian would you become?

Uh, pilgrimage is something like a journey? I know it's to fight off Sin, and bring peace to Spira. So, a "summoner" goes on this pilgrimage to get the Final Aeon, or something like that.

Yeah, fiends are like monsters! And I'm not a guardian, but they protect the summoners they're with. So if I was one, I'd be protecting Yuna.

[Tidus looks embarrassed, there's so much to take in since he's new to Spira, so he can't remember everything he's been told, much less Lucca, where they're supposedly hoping to find someone he knows.]
