Your cat is adorable and as somebody who has a love-hate relationship with their job (hate more than love most days), I am really happy that you love your profession!

I have two jobs. Before midday I´m working in the office of an architect as a project assistant (which is sometime so boring). In the afternoon I´m working as a learning coach, which means I help pupils and learner in general with learning problems and issues. This is a fantastic job because every kid, student is different and to notice their relief and delight when they found a solution or just make a step forward is very satisfying.

Hey, I'm a non-native when it comes to German and you don't see me sounding poetic! (Of course, I never got past Guten Tag and Ich mag Bier, which is a lie because I do not like beer. I got to the point where if the teacher made a series of noises, I knew she wanted me to close the door, but I actually did not have any idea what she was saying.)

Working with kids is great, isn't it? Teachers have such impact on children's lives. I still remember my Grade 1 teacher, this wonderful woman who taught me how to read. I don't think she remembers me though, it was a LONG time ago. I bet your students will remember you 20, 30 years later when they are all grown up!

"Guten Tag" and "Ich mag Bier" are absolutely perfect, especially down here in Bavaria :-) Probably your teacher said something like "Schließe die Tür." means "close the door" and "Tür" sounds a bit (just a bit) like "beer" ;-)

I guess my lines sound "outlandish" from time to time because I most likely use some vocabs not exactly in the proper way :-) But hey, as long as people understand what I want to say it´s fine with me :-)

Autumn can be wnderful - especially if it's like at the moment. Sunny and warm with red and yellow leaves everywhere. I don't know if we have the same taste but maybe this autumn fanmix<7a> is the right thing for you:)
