I was talking to a couple of my friends, and one of them had read the Civil Procedure E&E the summer before 1L. She also understood civ pro better than anyone else I knew, and I'm pretty sure she got an A, even though we had the toughest professor in the school. So, doing a little bit of prep work maybe isn't as terrible an idea as I thought! I

thanks for the message-- duly noted! I'll be abroad for the next two weeks, but I've already ordered some e&es and will get cracking when i get back. also, penn has just received my deposit so it's official-- I'll be there in the fall! good luck with finals!
