So David has admitted he's an alcoholic and needs to stop, at least for a time. Last Wednesday, 8/5/09 I came home at 8:30 and he was passed out on the couch. He'd been up since 4pm Tuesday, and drinking as of 11:30pm. He says he passed out about 11am, but I'll bet he blacked out and stayed up longer but doesn't remember. I realize I'm not as in touch with myself as I'd like to be/should be. I realize I'm not as open and honest as I should/could be. I tend to avoid situations or otherwise not address directly things that are unpleasant. I've been trying to be better, improve myself where I'd like to improve like the issues above. Is is possible to hate your life, but still realize how good you have it?

I got beach time in on Sunday, and while I'm glad I went it was crazy. The freeway there is called 17, and was a parking lot. So I went crazy and decided to go 101 south to 1 north, which takes me about 100 miles out of my way or something. It took me almost 3 times as long as usual, and it was in the mid 90's the whole way. I actually did enjoy ( Read more... )
