I will always be there for you. Remember the old adage: friends are the family you choose? There's a reason for that. I can't promise everyone will live up to their expectations all the time, but that's part of what makes us human. Right now, the only possible thing that could end our friendship is if you deliberately and significantly hurt me, or if you honestly tell me you don't want to be friends. Neither of those things is a "slip.". It's easy to judge by the standards of what you grew up with, but humanity is so diverse and not everyone suffers from the same issues. I hope this stage passes for you, but if it doesn't you will find ways to cope and I will stick by you. When I commit to a friend, I mean it to be for life. And even if there are times you can't bear to be around me, that's okay too. I'll still be waiting. I love you sweetie and that's not going to change any time soon. *hugs*
