Thanks a lot! I'll ask about the Pash issue shortly.

In my post, I listed several pages from the official (Japanese) site that I need more information about. Again, just a general idea as to what they contain would be good to start. For some, I may need a full or partial translation, but I won't know until I determine the nature of their contents. I've tried using Google Translate, and it's told me enough to suggest that I *might* be interested. A slightly clearer summary should tell me whether I need the information or not, as well as how much of it. (The "News" link, for instance may be mostly useless, but a few headlines may be very helpful.)

Also, the unofficial English translation can be downloaded online. Here is the untranslated "Author's Note" page(s) from the manga: http://www.mangatraders.com/view/file/24174/page/143The image in the link is a bit messed up, but the "Download" option should give access to the entire manga in JPEG format (once unzipped). Flipping through, you should see pages with untranslated ( ... )

Btw, although I don't have time to do the same level of research, writing, and polishing for the Natsume's Book of Friends article on Wikipedia, in return for the help that I get from this community, I am willing to do in-depth coaching for anyone wishing to create a similar quality article. Any such interested person or persons must be willing to do the research and writing, but I will help walk you through the Wiki coding, referencing, article structuring, policy issues, dealing with (sometimes rude) Wikipedia editors/admins, etc. I will also perform a copy edit and possibly act as a neutral reviewer should you want to take the article on to "good article" or "featured article" (the two highest ratings on Wiki). If someone's interested, just reply with a comment.

Apparently the manga/anime was inspired by a real-life location in Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan

I don't know if this counts as a source but apparently this location was also used for Natsume Yuujinchou anime as well. It's Midorikawas birth place.

there is a video up promoting the location for tourism related to the series here. Most of the stuff in the video relates to Natsume but you see pictures of Hotarubi no Mori e as well.

Thanks. I think that link would have been a good news source... if it had mentioned Hotarubi no Mori e. Maybe the Pash article will spell it out, and then I can use the news link to tie it to both mangas...

Also, if someone would please translate the cast listing found on the Japanese Wiki for the article, that would be helpful. (I should be able to cite the anime DVD for that.) I need the role, as well as the the Kanji and Romaji names.

Thanks.
