WOW so, I played the final story in Hatoful Boyfriend, and holy crap that was INTENSE. I'm glad that I left it until the weekend, because getting through everything took literally all day, and wow. It was very emotional. I cried a couple of times. I still feel as if I need to decompress from that experience

You should play it! <3 <3 <3 It doesn't take long to get through - I was doing it in bite-sized chunks, which is why it took me like over a week... but with straight playing it'd probably just be two days. And the actual plot beyond the dating game section is really awesome.

But if you do, you will have to tell me what to think o3o Because I will be very interested.

I wouldn't worry too much about not being familiar with JRPGs. They only used very basic elements of them for the "battle" scenes. The rest is just... Anghel being Anghel. I just imagine him as a weeaboo who thinks he's part of a very poorly written and overly complicated manga. Anyway, I definitely wouldn't envy anyone trying to write him.

Holiday Star might help a little though. He gets quite a bit of screen time.

Omg whyyyy did I fall in love with the weeaboo bird, I don't understand, he isn't my usual type at all! (Maybe there's a part of me that just wants to cuddle him and get him to calm the fuck down a little. Poor thing's so high-strung, jesus.)
