☆ I keep wanting to update, but then I suddenly find myself staring at the screen, unable to come up with a single thing. Let's see if pointnotes work better. It's just, I don't want to lose track of what's been going on in my life, you know? The days are already running together as it is, and occasionally being busy with real-life things certainly ( Read more... )

Wildfires? Damn, I thought those mostly happened during summers... The damages sound quite alarming, I really hope it's mostly over.

I totally failed with posting my fic on 17th too, even though it's 80% finished. Maybe it's for better, the mood in it isn't exactly... festive. Curious about yours, though, and jealous of roleplaying - it's one of the things I'd love to try but most likely will never come around to actually doing.

Haha, before peeking under the cut I was dubious whether it'd be the Baltics or the Nordics. The whole series is adorable, but those two pics were just... aaahh.

Summer too, but for some reason our springs tend to be oddly dry as well - probably just because we don't get a lot of rain, or something. But yeah, I hope they'll be able to get everything under control soon. It's very troubling.

Oh -- you were writing something for the 17th? I don't think you mentioned it - I do hope you'll finish it and post it at a later time, because I do like your writing, at least from what I've seen.
(As for mine, it was just, um, porn. And not historical at all really.)

Re: roleplaying, to be honest, if it weren't for the anonmeme, I probably wouldn't do it at all. Formal games intimidate me (and I wouldn't have enough patience for them). But on the meme, a person can play off whatever topic they want, and come and go as they please, and have so many different character interactions, including with Anonymous... That freedom really, really appeals to me.

Ffff I love the one he did of the Baltics too, omg <3 But this one, ahhhh Denmark ahhhhh I am just -- In love. :)a

Hee, it doesn't really help to make me less curious). Historical pieces are interesting but so is characters being themselves. And I find porn terribly hard to write well. :(

Oh yes, it's true. The thought of joining some game is tempting but to think about all the responsibilities and how seriously people take them... It'd be impossible for me to keep up. Also I'm always paranoid that roleplaying means thinking fast and reacting immediately - all while being in-character, no less! - and it's kind of terrifying.
Hm, need to visit anonmeme more.

Lol, Denmark. Ruining peaceful fluffy family pictures since 2009. 8D

Well, then hopefully when I finish it, I'll be satisfied enough with it to post it somewhere! \o/ (If I decide to go the anonymous route, I'll probably just PM you a link or something, since you're interested ( ... )

Those pictures are adorable ;3;

Also re; Eurovision FUCK YEAH ČAROBAN! That's one of my favorites, in the big mass of songs I really liked a ton but not quite as much as What About My Dreams? and Rockefeller Street. It's probably the closest second. It makes me sad, my IRL friends that follow Eurovision didn't like it =<. But most of my online friends do \o/

There were a lot that I was really meh about until I heard the recorded version. :Va Rockefeller Street, for instance, did nothing for me live, but the recorded... yeah, I like it. I guess this stuff just grows on me.

I adored it live and got hooked on it like a nut. Same with What About My Dreams? I think with Rockefeller Street it was in part because I was really drawn in by the stage setup, dance routine, Getter's dress, etc. But I know what you mean. I got stupidly hooked on Čaroban by listening to the recording. Same with Haba Haba (such a shame about the live performance...) and No One. Also I came to like Switzerland's better by listening to the recording.

I KNOW RIGHT fffffff that Denmark I don't even --

and I know right. Sigh, Eurovision. Then again, on the other hand, Eurovision. It's silly to expect the results that we want, political voting, etc. ;)
And yeah, I'm surprised that Netherlands didn't get through too. It's a good song. SIGH :c
